I’ve been struggling a bit lately with my swing (hasn’t everyone at some point?) and decided to go through the simple 11-step drill I posted the other day, (you can see it at here ) to see if it really does what it says. I went to the range, and started with my 7-iron, like the drill says to do, and did the step by step setup. I normally hit my 7-iron about 150 yards. First swing with my 7-iron was probably 160, maybe, 165 on my first swing!! A 10+ yard increase, and I changed nothing but the distance between my feet and the ball.
